Winter Junior Tennis Program

We are happy to unveil our 2020/2021 Winter Junior Tennis Program. In light of the continued COVID-19 situation, we will continue to make sure that we have protocols set in place to ensure we are providing the safest environment possible. We understand that every family or individual has different health and safety comfort levels and want to make sure we all take that into consideration. Outside of that, our main goal is to provide first class quality tennis instruction to allow each junior to be the best they can be.

Please review the important information below regarding our 2020/2021 Winter Junior Tennis Program.

2020/2021 Winter Schedule

RCC will be running an 10-week Winter Program Schedule.
All programs will start on Monday, January 4th, 2021.

Registration

Members, followed by participants who were registered in our Fall Program will receive first priority for our Winter Programs. If spots remain open, we will invite new participants to join the group on a first-come, first-served basis.

The priority for group acceptance is as follows:

  1. RCC members
  2. Previously registered non-member Fall 2020 participants
  3. New non-member participants

*All new participants must complete and submit our COVID-19 form.

New Invoicing Process (Non-Members)

Once you choose which days you wish to participate in for the winter, you must secure your days by paying the invoice we will be sending you in advance. For example, once you choose to attend a specific class from January through March, we will invoice you and your spot will be held once payment is received.

Members will be charged to their RCC Member Accounts

Registration Dates

Member Registration: Starts Monday, November 23, 2020.
Non Member Registration: Starts Monday, November 30th, 2020.

Waiver Forms

All participants must complete our combined Program Policy and Covid-19 Declaration Form prior to their initial day of group lessons if they have not already done so. Click here: Program Policies

Payment (Non-Members)

Once you confirm your spot in the program, an invoice will be sent to you. To confirm your spot, nonmember payments must be made by e-transfer to hchoi@richmondcc.ca. All RCC Members will be charged directly to their accounts. Credit card payments are available over the phone but are subject to a 3% fee. E-transfers are highly recommended over debit payments to decrease the amount of traffic flow within the club and to keep everyone safe. Once your e-transfer is complete, a confirmation email will be sent confirming your payment.

Court Occupancy

We aim to have no more than 3-4 students on a court at any given time.

COVID-19 Policy

Participants and coaches will not be allowed to attend group lessons if they have symptoms of illness of any kind. They may not use the facility if they have travelled outside of British Columbia within the past 14 days. They cannot have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or to anyone who has travelled outside of BC within the past 14 days.

Parent Viewing

Due to the COVID-19 situation, parents are asked NOT to view tennis sessions inside the tennis bubble. We will communicate with you if and when this option will be available.
